Hello.Summer.

Hello Lovlies

It's Summer you know what that means, late nights and early mornings. My best friend Natasha is coming down from the UK and we will be in Cape Town for a weekend in Jan, so looking forward to that. Otherwise my holiday plans are working, late night beach dips, braai's, sand boarding, road tripping with my boy and ice-cream and pigging out to my hearts content.

Happy Holidays.

God Bless.

Impossible.Is.Nothing

Hello Lovlies

His heart the symbol of hope and forgiveness, an Icon celebrated by the world. Being a South Africa and having had grown up in a country which despite it's grim history has stood united and keeps on emerging.

Nelson Mandela has sadly left us, he dedicated his life in the fight for equality amongst all South Africans. My earliest memory of "uTata" as his affectionately known to South African's, we were asked to draw a portrait of some we looked up to , it could be anyone in art class, so i chose to do pencil sketch of Madiba. Having grown up with a very political father, who to did his bit to help alleviate discrimination in South Africa, I am often remind that the greatest victory is Peace.
I don't really have much to say as the whole world is currently mourning the death of on of the greatest human beings to ever walk this earth. I will write something I wish I could have said to uTataRholithlathla.

Molo Tata, I want to thank you for giving up most of your life in a time where the situation seemed hopeless, where you put your life on the line, even willing to sacrifice your own life so that we as a nation could be in the position that where we are today. The duty you have done for your Country has shaped the world and has opened the hearts of many people. You are an inspiration. Thank you for teaching the world that forgiveness if far better then revenge, and that if you really want something in life you must be prepared to make sacrifice and never losing hope even thou situations seem hopeless.

Thank you for being a great leader , for inspiring generations and those to come. Rest in peace Tata, knowing that you have lived your life serving your people, and fulling your purpose and destiny. The angels and God await your return.

Your courage, spirit and legacy will live on and your people will continue the fight for freedom as many are still oppressed in their minds.

Lala ngoxolo Tata onkhulu, asicingi sikulibale, siyabulela ngemizamo yakhe ukude sibeLapa namthlanje. NdiyakuTanda Madiba.

Enkosi.

"No one is born hating , people are taught to hate and if people can be taught to hate, they can also be taught to love as love comes more naturally then hate" - Nelson Mandela

Hey Lovlies

Wow It feels like a life time since I've really been on the blog which is really not a good thing, I love blogging don't have much time and my camera is not functioning. Apologize to all my readers world wide.

This is just a quick update on my life and the happenings since the last time i blogged. Recently spent a weekend in Cape Town for my friends 25th Birthday party, and yes were getting that old. Sun, sand, sea and some of my best Friends all out at sea living it up. The best weekend of my life. I wore a white maxi dress from asos.com , my shoes were from Mr Price and the floral crop top also from Mr Price and my floral head band was borrowed from a friend.

I fell in love with Cape Town, the back drop of the mountain, the smell of the ocean the juxtaposition of the concrete jungle wrapped in an abundance of textured con-caved mountains.

Beauty at it's finest, the theme was Greek Mythology so being the flower child that I am I decided to go as the goddess of nature. I had the best time ever and my friend Amanda the birthday girl is the best host ever. Amazing food, sparkling drinks, all my favourite people and twerking on a Yacht , what more could a girl ask for.

Lesson for this week - Life is too short not to enjoy, make the most of every moment, live, love, dance smile and don't forget to always keep your head held high.

Peace.Love. God

Velvet.Dreams.

What I'm wearing :
Dress: Clearouts
Shoes: Vans
Sunglasses: Mr Price
Neon Ring: Topshop

Hello Lovlies

My outfit post was taking at the beautiful Rhodes University during the Grahamstown Festival, me and Alex has so much and we were so exhausted. There was so much to do and so little time. My peak for the trip was Rodge Goode from 5fm who performed at Prime, the best party me and  Alex's we have ever jammed to in our lives.

This was the best weekend ever for me as i was surrounded by Art, Music, Vintage and Food. My maxi dress was so functional its velvet if your wondering and its got a lot of stretch. So i could run to shows, walk up and down the hill and still jam the whole night through.

Lesson for the weekend: Life is a journey, make a date and fly away

Happy weekend.

Peace.Love.God

Style.Icon: Lianne.La.Havas

Hello Lovlies

It's Friday whoop whoop! I can't get over how amazing Lianne's voice is, my friend kept on talking about her and when i sat down and finally heard her voice last year I was captivated she's so talented, and she can really perform and her presence is insane.

Then i liked her facebook page, and was drawn in by her quirky, retro, vintage style. I secretly wish she was my sister so she could teach me how to play the guitar and we could totes share clothes.

She's my style inspiration, she's bold, appears to be very comfortable in her skin and has fun with clothing, which is the most important thing. She comes across as being super confident, and she's not even a size zero. I love her versatility and her natural hair yey. She's also a Brit, and yoll know how much i love Britain.

I hope your as inspired as I am.

Lesson for this weekend : It matters not what you wear, It's how you carry yourself in what your wearing.

Peace.Love.God
